We are participating in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) with all other Accredited Radiology Residency programs.  In order for an application to be considered, applicants should submit their electronic applications through their Dean’s office.  We will be doing an advanced match for the year 2009.  Each applicant must be registered with the National Resident’s Matching Program (NRMP) We require a completed ERAS application form, 3 letters of recommendation, a medical school transcript, a Dean’s letter from your medical school, USMLE scores with a minimum score of 230 and no failures, and a photograph (optional). Graduates of American medical schools currently undertaking clinical training should contact the Dean’s Office of their medical school for instruction.  Foreign applicants will place their application through the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).

All Diagnostic Radiology Residency programs now require a preliminary or transitional year for completion of a Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program.  Applicants should check the AMA FREIDA or “Green Book” for those programs that offer a preliminary or transitional year or check ACGME  for information about all accredited programs. Applications can be made directly to  programs through ERAS.

Our program combines a strong teaching commitment, board clinical experience, and considerable hands-on experience.  The department has been completely renovated and we incorporate the latest equipment and programs including PACS and Voice Dictation.  Regular conferences are given each day, special physics classes are taught, opportunity for residents to attend  AFIP is extended, and presentation of papers/posters at certain National Conferences is encouraged.  Our Residents have their own desks and lounge area . The Department maintains a "Resident Only" library containing the latest books for check-out.  Each Resident is allotted a $750.00 fund with which to purchase textbooks.  We welcome your application through the appropriate channels.  Please contact us at the email address given below.
